| The 8th Annual Maffe Foundation Golf Tournament is taking place at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course; 9:00 AM registration and 10:00 AM shot-gun start on a prestigious course, gourmet dinner after play, social hour, great giveaways and entertainment. Come out for a great day of golf, prizes, contests, food and celebrities! A portion of this year's proceeds will also benefit The First Tee of Connecticut, an initiative of the Connecticut Golf Foundation, which has been running youth development programs through the game of golf since 2000. Today, the organization serves over 50,000 youth annually throughout the state. Its mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. As part of its program, participants are taught from a curriculum based on Nine Core Values: Courtesy, Honesty, Sportsmanship, Judgement, Integrity, Perseverance, Responsibility, Confidence, and Respect. Sponsorships and playing spots available. Registration Fee is $225.00 per player ($900 per foursome) and includes goody bag, green fees, cart, lunch and dinner! All donated raffle prizes must have a value of $25.00 or more. All goody bag gifts can be pens, golf balls, tees, magnets, etc. in a quantity of 144.
